Clarendon to US Capitol

We will hike from the Clarendon station (the orange line) to the US Capitol. Along the way, we will visit the following places and covering about 8 to 9 miles.

- US Marine Memorial
- National Cemetery
- Lincoln Memorial
- Dr. King's Memorial
- Tidal Basin (Cherry Blossom???)
- Washington Memorial
- US Capitol

NOTE: Since we will be near metro stations, you are free to leave and take the metro home without completing the hike.

WHEN: Saturday, March 18th, @ 9:30am

MEETING PLACE: the Clarendon metro station

PARKING: Street parking along the neighborhood is free

COST: none

RSVP: richard.lee@census.gov

WEAR: Clothes appropriate for the weather, comfortable shoes and water and some money for metro.
