Join the GMP for our festive annual Harpers Ferry holiday hike. Expect a short, scenic, 2-3 hour hike of moderate difficulty. Most of the afternoon will be available for exploring the town and taking in history and/or visiting the brewery. Harpers Ferry celebrates Christmas 1860's style.

Hikers meet at the Harpers Ferry TRAIN STATION at 8:45 a.m. (PLEASE NOTE THE EARLY START TIME DUE TO LIMITED PARKING AT THE TRAIN STATION)

The Green Mountain People (GMP) is the Census Bureau's Outdoor Club, founded in 1989 by Dave Kashihara and Terry Pennington, hosts a wide variety of fun and interesting year-round outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, tubing, rafting, kayaking, backpacking, and canoeing.
