Welcome to the Green Mountain People Website! The Green Mountain People (GMP) is the Census Bureau's Outdoor Club, founded in 1989 by Dave Kashihara and Terry Pennington, hosts a wide variety of fun and interesting year-round outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, tubing, rafting, kayaking, backpacking, and canoeing. Census Bureau employees, contractors, family, and friends are invited to participate. Do you appreciate the outdoors? Do you enjoy meeting new people?
