Raven Rocks Hike (6 Miles), Saturday, May 20, 2017 MEET: Parking lot: Snickers Gap - Appalachian Trailhead, Millwood, VA TIME: 9AM at the trailhead ***** RAVEN ROCKS HIKE DETAILS ***** The view from Raven Rocks is one of the best in the area. Although the distance is only 6 miles with a vertical gain of 1,530ft, as you can see from the elevation profile, there are three strenuous ascents on this out and back hike. Good portions of the trail are pretty steep and rocky. Hiking boots are recommended.
